Tails on the Town is sadly saying goodbye to Brooklyn, NY after 18 years but we hope to meet you again in our new upstate home of New Paltz, NY. We'll be offering personal dog boarding, dog training, and pet grief support.
For those of you who are new to Tails on the Town, welcome! I’m Maria, dog mom, dog rescuer, dog trainer, pet loss grief counselor and dog lover. Tails on the Town is the professional dog boarding & training service owned & operated by me and my husband, Doug.
We have been in the business of taking care of dogs and supporting dog parents for 25 years. To us dogs are everything. They are our lives and love and happiness. And we are truly grateful to be entrusted with your best friend's care.

Boarding
We offer limited boarding for our clients' dogs in our new lovely upstate home with a large fenced-in grassy backyard. 4-5 outings per day in the forms of walks are included as well as daily updates/check-ins for you!
New dogs to Tails on the Town will require a meet and greet and day visit to make sure they're comfortable.

Pet Grief Support
I am a certified Pet Loss Grief Counselor and member of The Association for Pet Loss and Bereavement. You may be struggling with the recent loss of a pet from long ago, or from a pet lost some time ago. Grief has no timeline and it's important to honor your feelings and the love you had and have for your beloved pet.

It takes a village to raise a puppy (and survive!), and we're happy to help. Our solo puppy visits are 20 minutes long and include potty training and feeding. Weekend, holiday and evenings cost an additional $10.
